Why Partner with Equalitas

Strengthening Early Years Teaching, Together

The foundations for lifelong learning begin in the early years. That’s why our Early Years Initial Teacher Training (EYITT) programme is designed to work collaboratively with early years settings, shaping practitioners to become confident, adaptable Early Years Teachers.

Our fully funded, one-year programme is delivered online, with trainees continuing to work in their employer setting. Through expert-led training and reflective learning, trainees apply their learning, developing skills that make an immediate and lasting impact on the children in their care.

A Collaborative Model for Early Years Training

When your setting partners with Equalitas, you become part of a Community of Transformers, a professional network committed to raising standards in early years education through practical, research-informed training.

We work with nurseries, schools and early years providers to upskill staff, improve retention, and strengthen teaching provision with qualified Early Years Teachers who are grounded in their setting’s values and context.

Our programme is built on:

  • Accessibility: 100% online delivery, designed around the working lives of early years practitioners
  • Expertise: Purposely sequenced training from experienced tutors and subject leads, with structured workplace support
  • Real-World Impact: trainees learn and teach simultaneously, bringing development strategies directly into practice

Teaching in the early years is about more than just delivering lessons; it’s about creating an environment that nurtures curiosity, builds confidence, and supports children’s emotional and cognitive development from the start.
