Design Thinking in Primary Teacher Training: A Visit to London’s Design Museum

Our Primary Teacher Training cohort recently joined us for a design-focused training day at London’s Design Museum.

Hosted by the museum’s education team, the session explored how design thinking can inspire creativity, cross-curricular planning and real-world learning in primary classrooms.

The training is part of our programme’s wider use of London’s Knowledge Quarter, giving trainees access to world-class learning environments and hands-on professional experiences throughout the year.

The video below features highlights from last year’s Design Museum session, introduced by Lea and Denise, the educators who led both years’ training.

Equalitas’ Primary Teacher Training programme is grounded in expert-informed, evidence-based practice. Trainees benefit from our London location and take part in immersive professional development that expands their understanding of the curriculum through real-world learning.
